Text
(1)The general assembly finds and
declares that:
(a)Competition is fundamental to:
(I)The free market system; and
(II)A healthy marketplace that protects workers and consumers; and
(b)The unrestrained and fair interaction of competitive forces will yield the
best allocation of our economic resources, the lowest prices, the highest quality
commodities and services, and the greatest material progress while at the same
time providing an environment that is conducive to the preservation of our
democratic, political, and social institutions and to the protection of consumers.
