Text
The valid claims of servants, laborers, and
employees of the assignor, for wages earned during the six months immediately
preceding the date of the assignment, not to exceed fifty dollars, to any one person
then unpaid, which claims are still held by the person who earned them, and all
taxes assessed under the laws of this state, or of the United States, are preferred
claims and shall be paid in full prior to the payment of the dividends in favor of
other creditors.
