Text

(1)An independent contractor may be retained by a solar sales company as a salesperson. Notwithstanding the salesperson's status as an independent contractor, the solar sales company that employs the independent contractor as a salesperson is responsible for ensuring compliance with this part 18 and for any loss or damages resulting from noncompliance by the independent contractor when acting on behalf of the solar sales company.
(2)A salesperson may be employed by more than one solar sales company.
(3)In the absence of a state law or local government ordinance, a salesperson shall not visit a residence to conduct a sale except between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
