(1)An electronic voting device may be used to cast a provisional ballot if the device is
certified by the secretary of state for that purpose.
(2)If an electronic voting device that is certified for use with provisional
ballots is used in an election, the designated election official shall determine
whether electors casting provisional ballots shall use the electronic voting device
or paper provisional ballots.
