Text
(1)On
and after June 6, 2005, a political subdivision shall not acquire a voting system
unless the voting system is capable of producing a voter-verified paper record of
each elector's vote.
(2)A political subdivision shall not acquire a voting device that has been
retrofitted to comply with this part 8 unless the voting device has been certified by
the secretary of state.
