Text
(1)The
secretary shall compile the number of votes cast for each candidate named on the
presidential primary election ballot and the votes cast to send a noncommitted
delegate to the political party's national convention, if applicable, and shall
calculate the percentage of votes received by each candidate as compared to the
number of votes received by all candidates of the same political party.
(2)The secretary shall certify the results and percentages calculated
pursuant to subsection (1) of this section to the state chairperson and the national
committee of each political party which had at least one candidate on its
presidential primary election ballot.
(3)Each political party shall use the results of the election to allocate
national delegate votes in accordance with the
