(1)Except as
provided in subsection (2) of this section, a completed agency registration
application accepted at a voter registration agency shall be transmitted to the
county clerk and recorder not later than five days after the date of acceptance;
except that, within twenty-two days before an election, a voter registration agency
must transmit completed voter registration applications on a daily basis.
(2)Within eight days before an election, a voter registration agency shall
accept the application and immediately inform the applicant that he or she must go
to a voter service and polling center in order to vote in that election.
