(1)(a) [ Editor's note: For the applicability of this subsection (1)(a) on or after January 1, 2026, see the editor's note following this section. ] A person shall not do any electioneering on the day of any election, or during the time when voting is permitted for any election, within any polling location or in any public street or room or in any public manner within one hundred feet of any building in which a polling location or drop-off location is located, as publicly posted by the designated election official, or within one hundred feet of a drop box.
(b)(I) As used in this section, the term electioneering includes:
(A)Campaigning for or against any candidate who is on the ballot or any ballot issue or ballot question that is on the ballot.
(B)The distribution or display
