§ 1820.47. — 1820.47. (Amended by Stats. 1995, Ch. 72, Sec. 9.)

In order to develop, establish, and operate residential and nonresidential boot camp and similar programs for young, first-time offenders and nonserious and nonviolent offenders, a county may contract with the Military Department for the provision of the following services:

(a)Program planning assistance for counties contemplating the development of residential and nonresidential boot camp and similar programs.
(b)Training of personnel for residential and nonresidential boot camp and similar programs.
(c)Technical assistance for existing boot camp and similar programs.
(d)Assistance in establishing cooperative innovative military projects and career training (IMPACT) programs. A county that contracts with the Military Department for any of these services shall be reimbursed for its cos
