Notwithstanding any other provision of law, if actual federal approval or a letter that indicates likely federal approval in accordance with Section 14168.34 has not been received on or before June 1, 2011, then this article shall become inoperative, and as of June 1, 2011, is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that is enacted before June 1, 2011, deletes or extends that
date.

Repealed on or after January 1, 2013, as prescribed in Section 14168.41. Note: Conditions in this section for repeal of Article 5.227 (commencing with Section 14168.31) failed.
