(a)To the extent not prohibited by federal law, the State Department of Health Care Services shall annually inform the Employment Development Department of the names and social security numbers of all recipients of the benefits of the Medi-Cal program (Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 14000)).
(b)The State Department of Health Care Services shall determine the average per individual cost
of state and federally funded benefits provided by the
Medi-Cal program excluding administrative costs of the Medi-Cal program. These departments shall then inform the Employment Development Department of these costs in order for the Employment Development Department to calculate the information that is required to be reported pursuant to Section 13084 of the Government Code.
