§ 78650.2. — 78650.2. (Added by Stats. 1996, Ch. 135, Sec. 1.)

(a)
There is hereby created in the account the Lake Tahoe Water Quality Subaccount. The sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is hereby transferred from the account to the subaccount for the purpose of implementing this article.
(b)
Notwithstanding Section 13340 of the Government Code, the money in the subaccount is hereby continuously appropriated, without regard to fiscal years, to the California Tahoe Conservancy for the purposes of directly undertaking, or for grants to public agencies for, land acquisition and improvement programs which control soil erosion, restore watersheds, or preserve environmentally sensitive lands and the natural environment, and related implementation costs, pursuant to Title 7.42 (commencing with Section 66905) of the Government Code.
