Text
(a)Every employer of a commercial driver shall provide information to that employee at the time of hiring and to all employed commercial drivers annually, concerning all of the following:
(1)The prohibition against driving a commercial motor vehicle with over 0.04 percent or more, by weight, alcohol in his or her blood on and after January 1, 1992.
(2)The requirement to be placed out of service
for 24 hours if the person’s blood-alcohol concentration is tested to be 0.01 percent or more, by weight, on and after January 1, 1992.
(b)The Department of Motor Vehicles shall include the information prescribed in subdivision (a), together with information concerning the alcohol concentration in a person’s blood resulting from consumption of alcoholic beverages, in each publication of the
