§ 22511.3. — 22511.3. (Added by Stats. 2008, Ch. 588, Sec. 1.)

California·Code VEH Vehicle Code - VEH·Div. 11. DIVISION 11. RULES OF THE ROAD·Ch. 9. CHAPTER 9. Stopping, Standing, and Parking
(a)A veteran displaying special license plates issued under Section 5101.3, 5101.4, 5101.5, 5101.6, or 5101.8 may park his or her motor vehicle, weighing not more than 6,000 pounds gross weight, without charge, in a metered parking space.
(b)Nothing in this section restricts the rights of a person displaying either a special identification license plate issued pursuant to Section 5007 or a distinguishing placard issued pursuant to Section 22511.55 or 22511.59.
(c)
(1)This section does not exempt a vehicle displaying special license plates issued under Section 5101.3, 5101.4, 5101.5, 5101.6, or 5101.8 from compliance with any other state law or ordinance, including, but not limited to, vehicle height restrictions, zones that prohibit stopping, parking, or standing of all vehicles, parkin
