California·Code SHC Streets and Highways Code - SHC·Div. 1. DIVISION 1. STATE HIGHWAYS·Ch. 3. CHAPTER 3. The Care and Protection of State Highways·Art. 5. ARTICLE 5. Control of Junkyards, Scrap Metal Processing Facilities, and Automobile Dismantling Facilities
The department is authorized to acquire such interests in real and personal property as may be necessary to effect the screening, recycling, relocation, removal, or disposal of junkyards required by the provisions of this article.
