§ 2107.7. — 2107.7. (Amended by Stats. 2025, Ch. 14, Sec. 9.)

(a)For each fiscal year, there shall be included in the annual Budget Bill submitted by the Governor an amount not to exceed twelve million dollars ($12,000,000) to be appropriated by the Legislature from the Highway Users Tax Account in the Transportation Tax Fund to the State Parks and Recreation Fund.
(b)These funds shall be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation for the maintenance and repair of highways in units of the state park system.
(c)In addition, the money may be used by the Department of Parks and Recreation for construction and improvement on the highways when appropriated for such purposes by the Legislature.
(d)The highway construction and improvement shall be designed in accordance with the standards established by the Department of Parks and Recreation
