(a)If a joint powers entity providing public transportation services was funded at any time under this article and is subsequently dissolved, any succeeding entity providing such services shall not be eligible for funding, unless it conforms to Section 99268.1, 99268.2, 99268.3, 99268.4, 99268.5, or 99268.9, as the case may be, which applied to its predecessor.
(b)Except a city or a county filing a claim pursuant to Section 99260.7, no public agency providing public transportation services, after withdrawing from, or while remaining in, a joint powers entity providing public transportation services, shall be eligible for funding under this article, unless it conforms to Section 99268.1, 99268.2, 99268.3, 99268.4, or 99268.9, as the case may be, that the joint powers entity is requi
