§ 5010.2.5. — 5010.2.5. (Added by Stats. 2024, Ch. 72, Sec. 38.)

(a)The department may establish the California State Park Adventure Pass. The pass shall be available, upon application to the department, to any child in grade 4, or grade 4 equivalent, who is a California resident and enrolled in a California public school.
(b)
(1)The department may waive the day use entrance fees to an eligible unit of the state park system, as determined by the department, for any child who holds a valid California State Park Adventure Pass as described in subdivision (a).
(2)The entrance fee waiver pursuant to paragraph (1) shall cover, where applicable, both of the following:
(A)A per vehicle entrance fee, including all passengers in the vehicle, as long as the vehicle is a single, private, noncommercial vehicle that is used to transport the grade 4 child to the
