The net proceeds of any sale made on behalf of the department pursuant to Section 11011 of the Government Code of any real property originally acquired for state park purposes, regardless of whether that real property is under the jurisdiction of the department, shall be deposited in the fund which was the original source for the acquisition of the property and shall be available for appropriation for the further extension, improvement, or development of the state park system in accordance with the law governing that fund.
