Any person who engages in the drilling, redrilling, deepening, maintaining, or abandoning of any low-temperature well, as defined in Section 3703.1, shall file with the supervisor an individual indemnity bond in the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) for each well less than 2,000 feet deep, ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for each well 2,000 feet deep or deeper, but less than 5,000 feet deep, fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for each well 5,000 but less than 10,000 feet deep, or twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for each well 10,000 or more feet deep. The bond shall be filed with the supervisor at the time of the filing of the notice of intention to drill, redrill,
