(a)
(1)A will executed by a member who was a member of a home at the time of death, whether executed prior or subsequent to January 1, 1984, which purports to leave any part of the member’s estate to an officer or employee of a home, unless that officer or employee would be eligible to take by intestate succession under the probate laws of this state, is void as to that provision.
(2)This subdivision shall apply only to veterans, spouses, and domestic partners becoming members of a home on or after January 1, 1984.
(b)
