California·Code INS Insurance Code - INS·Div. 2. DIVISION 2. CLASSES OF INSURANCE·Part 2. PART 2. LIFE AND DISABILITY INSURANCE·Ch. 2.6. CHAPTER 2.6. Long-Term Care Insurance·Art. 1. ARTICLE 1. Definitions

“Applicant” means either of the following:

(a)In the case of an individual long-term care insurance policy, the person who seeks to contract for benefits.
(b)In the case of a group long-term care insurance policy, the proposed certificate holder.
