(a)No retailer, as defined in Section 20999 of the Business and Professions Code, shall allow the operation of any gasoline pump from which leaded gasoline is dispensed, or which is labeled as providing leaded gasoline, unless the pump is equipped with a nozzle spout meeting the required specifications for leaded gasoline nozzle spouts set forth in Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 80.22(f)(1).
(b)For the purpose of this section, “leaded gasoline” means gasoline which is produced with the use of any lead additive or which contains more than 0.05 gram of
lead per gallon or more than 0.005 gram of phosphorus per gallon.
