The proceeds of bonds issued pursuant to this part to finance housing as provided in subdivision (d) of Section 34312, Section 34312.3, and subdivision (g) of Section 34315 and revenues accruing to the authority on account of such a program may be invested in any securities or obligations authorized by the resolution providing for issuance of the bonds or authorized by its trust indenture, when the bond proceeds or revenues are not immediately required to provide financing under the program. Such investments may include mortgage obligations on single-family dwellings purchased from a state or federally chartered bank or savings and loan association pursuant to a repurchase agreement under which the bank or savings and loan association will repurchase the mortgage obligation on or before a
