Each RMP required to be prepared pursuant to this article shall give consideration to the proximity of the facility or proposed facility to populations located in schools, residential areas, general acute care hospitals, long-term health care facilities, and child day care facilities. For purposes of this section, “general acute care hospital” has the meaning provided by subdivision (a) of Section 1250, “long-term health care facility” has the meaning provided by subdivision (a) of Section 1418, and “child day care facility” has the meaning provided by Section
1596.750. “School” means any school used for the purpose of the education of more than 12 children in kindergarten or any grades 1 to 12, inclusive.
