(a)
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 18081 or any other provision of law, the department may, for statistical or commercial purposes and upon payment of fees prescribed by the department, provide bulk information regarding the registration and title status of manufactured homes, mobilehomes, commercial coaches, truck campers, and floating homes.
(b)
For the purpose of this section, bulk information includes all or part of the information maintained by the department in its registration and title master file data base, except the name or names of the registered owner of the manufactured home, mobilehome, commercial coach, truck camper, or floating home.
