(a)
The State Department of Health Care Services, and as applicable, the State Department of Public Health and the California Department of Aging, may grant to entities contracting with the State Department of Health Care Services under the PACE program, as defined in Chapter 8.75 (commencing with Section 14591) of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, exemptions from the provisions contained in this chapter in accordance with the requirements of Section 100315.
(b)
This section shall become inoperative if, and on the date that, Section 1580.1, as added by Section 5 of the act that added this subdivision, becomes operative, and, as of January 1 immediately following that date, this section is repealed.
