Text
(a)It is the intent of the Legislature to provide for proper case management and orderly transition in placement when family home licensing or family home certification changes occur. Placing, licensing, and foster family agencies shall be advised in a timely manner that a licensed foster family home or certified home intends to change its licensing or certification status.
(b)Upon receiving notification that a licensed foster family home is forfeiting its license, the county shall evaluate the needs of any child still placed in the home
and determine whether the child requires the level of care to be provided when the home has been certified by a foster family agency. Any child not requiring that level of care shall be moved to a home that provides the appropriate level of care.
