There is in the State Department of Public Health an Office of AIDS. The State Department of Public Health, Office of AIDS, shall be the lead agency within the state, responsible for coordinating state programs, services, and activities relating to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), and AIDS related conditions (ARC).
