A clinic that has been verified by the Licensing and Certification Division of the State Department of Health Services and the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development as having (1) provided chronic dialysis and (2) been licensed as an outpatient clinic, before September 26, 1978, shall not be required to have a certificate of need pursuant to Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 127125) of Part 2 of Division 107 in order to obtain licensure as a chronic dialysis clinic.
