In each county with a population of 730,000 and under 850,000, as determined by the 1960 federal census, the monthly salary of the regular official phonographic reporters shall be not less than that paid to regular official phonographic reporters of the superior court in counties having a population of over 6,000,000. Pro tempore reporters in each county with a population of 730,000 and under 850,000, as determined by the 1960 federal census, shall receive a daily per diem in an amount not less than that paid to pro tempore superior court reporters in counties having a population of over 6,000,000.
