Text

A reasonable number of employee representatives of recognized employee organizations shall be granted reasonable time off without loss of compensation or other benefits when formally meeting and conferring with representatives of the state on matters within the scope of representation. This section shall apply only to state employees, as defined by subdivision (c) of Section 3513, and only for periods when a memorandum of understanding is not in effect.
