§ 30026. — 30026. (Amended by Stats. 2012, Ch. 40, Sec. 3.)

(a)
Consistent with Section 636 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of 2011, as of October 1, 2011, there is hereby established the Community Corrections Grant Program for the purpose of funding various changes to the criminal justice system as required by Chapter 15 of the Statutes of 2011. The grant program shall provide grants to all counties that are affected by the provisions of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of 2011.
(b)
The moneys in the Local Community Corrections Account within the Local Revenue Fund 2011, and the moneys in its successor subaccount or special account, the moneys in the Community Corrections Subaccount within the Law Enforcement Services Account within the Local Revenue Fund 2011, and the moneys in the
Community Corrections Growth Special Account within the Law Enforcement Services Growth Subaccount shall be used to fund the grant program as established in subdivision (a), and the appropriation out of that account on October 1, 2011, shall constitute an appropriation to fund the Community Corrections Grant Program, consistent with the provisions of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of 2011, and as identified in Section 636 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of 2011.
