(a)The Director of General Services, with the concurrence of the Director of Parks and Recreation, may convey to, exchange, or lease for a term of longer than five years, with the City of Los Angeles, at less than fair market value, approximately 28 acres of property known as Pan Pacific Park, located in the City of Los Angeles. The city shall develop, maintain, operate, and preserve the park for the use and recreation of the public and shall succeed to the interests of the state in any contracts relating to the operation and maintenance of the park.
(b)The deed or other instrument of transfer shall provide that the property shall be used only for public park and recreation purposes, and if this condition is violated, the state shall have the right to reenter and take possession of
