§ 14076.2. — 14076.2. (Amended by Stats. 1999, Ch. 724, Sec. 1.)

(a)
There is hereby created the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Board, subject to being organized pursuant to subdivision (b). The board shall be composed of not more than the following 16 members:
(1)
Six members of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District Board of Directors, appointed by the board of directors of that district, as follows:
(A)
Two who are residents of Alameda County.
(B)
Two who are residents of Contra Costa County.
(C)
Two who are residents of the City and County of San Francisco.
(2)
Two members of the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Regional Transit District, appointed by the board of directors of that district.
(3)
Two members of the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, appointed by the board of directors of that authority.
(4)
Two members of the county congestion management agency for the County of Yolo, appointed by that agency.
(5)
Two members of the county congestion management agency for the County of Solano, appointed by that agency.
(6)
Two members of the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency, appointed by that agency.
(b)
The board shall be organized when at least two of the jurisdictions described in paragraphs (1) to (6), inclusive, of subdivision (a) elect to appoint members to serve on the board. Only those jurisdictions that appoint members to serve on the board prior to December 31, 1996, shall be member-agencies of the board.
