Notwithstanding subdivision (g) of Section 1798.24 of the Civil Code, data collected, received, or prepared by the Demographic Research Unit for purposes specified in Section 13073.5 that contains personal information, as defined by subdivision (a) of Section 1798.3 of the Civil Code, shall be exempt from disclosure under the California Public Records Act (Division 10 (commencing with Section 7920.000) of Title 1).
