(a)In addition to any other applicable penalty, the commercial boat registration of a commercial passenger fishing boat may be revoked or suspended by the commission, when requested by the department, for a period not to exceed one year, upon conviction of the registrant, or the registrant’s agent, servant, employee, or any other person acting under the registrant’s direction or control, for a violation of Section 7121 or a regulation adopted pursuant to that section, if the violation in question involves that boat.

period not to exceed one year, upon conviction of any person other than the person specified in subdivision (a), for a violation of Section 7121, if the fish or amphibians involved in the violation were taken from that boat, and the person committing the violation had committed a prior violation of Section 7121 involving that boat within the previous three years.
(c)
A commercial boat registration shall not be revoked under this section for a violation committed without the knowledge of the master, or an agent or employee of the registrant.
