(a)
The committee shall meet periodically for the purposes specified in Article 4 (commencing with Section 55040) and Article 5 (commencing with Section 55050).
(b)
A majority of the membership of the committee shall constitute a quorum of the committee. The vote of a majority of the members present at which there is a quorum shall constitute an act of the committee. The committee may continue to transact business at a meeting at which a quorum is initially present, notwithstanding the withdrawal of members, provided any action is approved by the requisite majority of the required quorum.
(c)
As a committee of the commission, the committee established pursuant to Section 55020 shall conduct itself according to the bylaws and rules of the commission.
(d)
Sections 71051, 71053, 71063, and 71066 shall apply to the committee.
