Text

The bureau shall issue a firearms permit when all of the following conditions are satisfied:

(a)
(1)The applicant is a licensee or a qualified manager of a licensee.
(b)The firearms permit is associated with one of the following:
(1)An individual licensed as a private investigator pursuant to Section 7525.1.
(2)A partner of a partnership licensed as a private investigator pursuant to Section 7525.1.
(3)A qualified manager of a licensed private investigator pursuant to Section 7536 or a qualified manager license pursuant to subdivision (c) of Section 7536.
(c)
(1)A bureau-certified firearms training instructor certifies that the applicant has successfully completed a written examination prepared by the bureau and a training course in the carrying and use of firearms approved by
