The amount of fees prescribed in connection with certificates for contact lens dispensers is as follows:
(a)The application and registration fee for a registered contact lens dispenser shall be a minimum of five hundred dollars ($500) and shall not exceed six hundred dollars ($600).
(b)The biennial fee for the renewal of certificates shall be a minimum of three hundred dollars ($300) and shall not exceed four hundred dollars ($400).
(c)The delinquency fee
shall be a minimum of fifty dollars ($50) and shall not exceed seventy-five dollars ($75).
(d)The California State Board of Optometry may by regulation provide for a refund of a portion of the application fee to applicants who do not meet the requirements for registration.
