Text
An osteopathic physician and surgeon licensed pursuant to the Osteopathic Initiative Act may utilize the services of an aide to assist the osteopathic physician and surgeon in the rendering of osteopathic manipulative treatment. The aide shall at all times be under the orders, direction, and immediate supervision of the osteopathic physician and surgeon. Nothing in this section shall authorize an aide to function independently of the osteopathic physician and surgeon or shall be construed as authorizing an osteopathic aide to practice medicine, surgery, or any other form of healing art.
