(a)
(1)When a licensee desires to have more than one place of practice, the licensee shall, prior to the opening of the additional office, apply to the board, pay the fee required by this chapter, and receive permission in writing from the board to have the additional place of practice.
(2)“Place of practice” means any dental office where any act of dentistry is practiced as defined by Section 1625, and includes a place of practice in which the applicant holds any proprietary interest of any nature whatsoever, or in which the licensee holds any right to participate in the management or control thereof.
