§ 35-113 — Submission of budget estimates

The administrative head of each budget unit, not later than September 1 of each year or at a later date not to exceed thirty days after September 1 if approved by the director of the governor's office of strategic planning and budgeting, shall submit to the governor, with two copies, estimates of the financial requirements and of receipts, including appropriated and nonappropriated monies in no less detail than the state general fund, of the budget unit for the next fiscal year. The estimates shall include a detailed estimate of the cost to the budget unit in the next fiscal year attributable to a county's, city's or town's establishment of a minimum wage if that minimum wage exceeds the minimum wage established by this state pursuant to section 23-363.
