Text

(a)No person shall be appointed a member of the board or a director, agent, or employee of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Enforcement Division, or the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board who is not a citizen of the United States and who has not resided in the State of Arkansas successively for two (2) years immediately preceding the date of this appointment.
(b)No person shall be so appointed who has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a felony or any violation of any federal or state law concerning the manufacture or sale of alcoholic beverages or malt beverages prior or subsequent to the passage of this subchapter, nor shall a person be appointed who has paid a fine or penalty in settlement in any prosecution against him or her for any violation
