Text
(a)The five (5) members to represent the State of Arkansas on the Arkansas-Mississippi Great River Bridge Construction Compact shall be the five (5) members serving on the State Highway Commission established pursuant to the provisions of Arkansas Constitution, Amendment 42, and members of the commission shall serve on the compact authority during their respective terms as members of the commission.
(b)Vacancies that occur in any member position on the authority from the State of Arkansas shall be filled by the successor member of the commission appointed to serve thereon, in the manner set forth in Arkansas Constitution, Amendment 42.
