§ 27-53-202 — Reports of accidents required - Supplemental reports

(a)(1) The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person or total property damage to an apparent extent of three thousand dollars ($3,000) or more shall notify the nearest law enforcement agency immediately.
(2)All persons involved in the accident shall make themselves readily available to the investigating agency's officer or officers.
(b)(1) (A) In addition to the requirements of subsection (a) of this section, the driver of any taxicab, motor bus, or other motor vehicle carrying passengers for hire involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person shall notify the nearest law enforcement agency immediately.
