Text

(a)Any person whose license or registration shall have been suspended under any provisions of this chapter, or whose policy of insurance or bond, when required under this chapter shall have been cancelled or terminated, shall immediately return his or her license and registration to the Office of Driver Services.
(b)If any person shall fail to return to the Office of Driver Services the license or registration as provided in this section, the Office of Driver Services may direct any peace officer or person so designated by the Office of Driver Services to secure possession thereof and to return it to the Office of Driver Services.
