§ 27-15-5102 — Design - Numbered plates

(a) (1) The Arkansas State Golf Association special license plates shall be designed by the Arkansas State Golf Association. (2) The design shall be submitted to the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration for design approval under rules of the secretary. (3) The association may periodically submit a newly designed license plate for approval and issuance by the secretary with not more than one (1) new license plate design issued per calendar year. (b) (1) Upon approval of the design by the secretary, the association shall remit to the Department of Finance and Administration a fee in the amount of six thousand dollars ($6,000) to cover the cost of the initial order of each newly designed license plate. (2) This fee shall be deposited into the State Central Services Fund for the benefit of the Revenue Division of the Department of Finance and Administration and shall be credited as supplemental and in addition to all other funds as may be deposited for the benefit of the division. (3) The fee shall not be considered or credited to the division as direct revenues. (c) The secretary shall promulgate reasonable rules and prescribe any forms as the secretary determines to be necessary to carry out the intent and purposes of this subchapter.
