Text

(a)(1) Each owner of a motor vehicle who is a resident of the State of Arkansas and who holds an unrevoked and unexpired official amateur radio station license issued by the Federal Communications Commission shall be issued a license plate as prescribed by law for private passenger cars upon application and:
(A)Proof of ownership of an amateur radio station license;
(B)Compliance with the state motor vehicle laws relating to regulation and licensing of motor vehicles; and (C) Payment of the regular license fee for plates as prescribed by law and the payment of an additional fee of two dollars ($2.00).
(2)Upon the plate, in lieu of the numbers as prescribed by law, shall be inscribed the official amateur station call sign of the applicant as assigned by the Federal Communications Commis
