Text

The owner and operator of a boat dock or marina in the state shall install and maintain electrical wiring in accordance with NFPA 303, the National Fire Protection Association Standard for Marinas and Boatyards, and NFPA 70, the National Fire Protection Association National Electrical Code®, to prevent shock, electrocution, or injury to users of the facility and swimmers in the surrounding area.
